Electronic Catalogues and Databases

This section provides information on electronic databases made by the Kirov Regional Scientific Library named after A. I. Herzen. The databases are created in the full-featured automated library and information system OPAC-Global, implemented in the architecture of the web-server and web-based clients.

Electronic catalogue of books, notes and nonprintable editions. The catalogue includes bibliographical records(BR) of the books, monographs, collections sequels and multivolume issues, having received by the library since 1990 (chronologically since XXVII centuries); bibliographical notes to editions on machine readable carries: audio and video cassettes local area electronic since 1998; note publications bibliographical writings, having got to the Art literature department of the library since 1999. Writings are made mostly in Russian and in the source languages. The search in EC is multidimensional.

 

Retrospective electronics catalogue — retrospective electronic catalogue of books (80-th years of the XX-th century).

 

Article card index — a universal electronic card index of articles from the periodicals has being begun from 1994. It includes analytical cards to the articles from the periodical issues and short descriptions, received by the library, Multidimensional thematic search is possible.

 

Local periodicals articles — bibliographical records of articles from the local periodicals, and also central editions containing information about Vyatka province — Kirov region. The catalogue was begun in 1999.
